Oleta River State Park Oleta River State Park is made up of 1,043 acres, making it the largest urban park in the state. The river that this park was named for no longer flows into the Everglades, however the natural beauty of Florida's wilderness lives on. Kayaking, mountain biking, swimming and fishing are all favored activities at this park. Accommodation is provided at an air-conditioned cabin for those visitors who wish to stay on. This is a small park that is that is rich with history. Arch Creek Park has a museum on site that displays artifacts from the now existent Tequesta Indian tribe and also by the Seminoles.
